Location: Atlanta Title: Clinical Supervisor Program: Foster Care
Summary: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the long range and day to day growth and enhancement of the clinical services provided for children with special needs who have been placed in foster care. He/she supervises a team that includes Case Managers, Recruiters and Training Coordinators in the development and oversight of service plans, community resources and placement. He/she works in partnership with other departments and community partners to work toward permanency for children. Provides emergency coverage and crisis intervention support to foster care placements.
Qualifications: Masters Degree in Social Work: LCSW preferred. The Supervisor must have two to five years of supervisory experience in child welfare working with children with special needs and their families. Medically fragile and Therapeutic Foster Care experience is preferred. Demonstration of skills to include the ability to work independently, make difficult decisions, strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills. Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point and Access is required. Must own a personal multi-passenger vehicle, hold a valid Georgia driver’s license, have a good driving record and appropriate insurance.
