Georgia Public Guardians

Presented by the Division of Aging Services, Georgia Department of Human Resources, a 20 Hour Training Session for Volunteers interested in becoming a Public Guardian.

Topics include: Basics of Guardianship, Alternatives to Guardianship, Roles of a Guardian, Record Keeping and Reporting, HealthCare and End-of-Life Planning, and Case Management

Domestic Infant/ Domestic Special Needs (Heritage)

Atlanta- the first and third Monday of each month from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the LSG Atlanta office: 1330 West Peachtree St.

. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED.

IMPACT classes for Heritage Adoption are offered on the following dates:

  • June:  Saturday June 14th and Sunday June 15th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday June 21st from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • September:  Saturday September 6th and Sunday September 7th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Saturday September 13th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

International

Atlanta - Orientations are the first Tuesday of each month, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. and the third Tuesday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
